An exceptional knowledge of art and antiques, both European and American, as well as experience gained from years involved in the furniture industry as Art Director of E.J. Victor Furniture of Morganton and High Point, NC, combined with his local sources, craftspeople, and talent brought to every project, adds to the value of working with him. English and Continental furniture and art are part of his repertoire; however, American and mid-Century furniture are also in his areas of expertise.

Mark Crowell is deeply rooted in the High Country region.  “The High Country region is rich with very talented artisans who often custom make my designs for furniture, window treatments, iron work, rugs, murals, etc. We start with the architecture, background, your requests and needs, add your history, objects, and personal style; then enrich and expand these basics beyond your expectations. Using antiques to furnish your home not only contributes tremendous character, but also preserves earth’s resources. Limiting newly made necessities to locally produced products helps the areas’ economy and maintains our high levels of artistic craftsmanship. I have worked on residences in Blowing Rock, Linville, Grandfather Golf and Country Club, Elk River Club, Linville Ridge, and Hound Ears. I love living here and I love helping people find pleasure, value, and comfort in their surroundings. We have fun and make designing enjoyable and enriching, as well as an educational and beautiful experience. I offer a complimentary initial consultation, so contact me anytime!”
